The Network
Journey to Joy™ is a new program born from the experience of its management which represents many years in the fields of grief research, client recovery and theological teaching.
As the number of churches accepting the program into their mix of ministries expands, the opportunities of networking for each member grow as discussed below. The current network is reaching across the United States and will soon begin development abroad.
Journey to Joy™ is most accessible through churches of all Christian denominations that sponsor the program. But it is not limited to churches and may be found in hospice and other facilities as well. Cost for network membership is only $100.00 per year.
Advantages of Networking
When a faith organization or other caring entity becomes a member of the Journey to Joy™ Network, things begin to happen in the ministry to those who suffer from grief.
Network members are afforded the contact information of other members so that ideas and positive attributes might be shared. Network updates and useful grief ministry information are provided via electronic newsletter. All non-session materials and books are discounted. Training school tuition is discounted for one student each year.
More importantly, network members in geographic proximity to one another can share facilitators, space, clergy and advertising. Co-sessions can be conducted with cost and time savings. The cooperative effort in just this one ministry can enhance shared efforts with other faith organizations in youth activities, outreach, and more.
Networking with other Journey to Joy™ member organizations can help the entire faith community reach the un-churched. The program should always be looked at not just to serve the sponsoring churches´ membership, but as an outreach program to welcome new church members through a wonderful, healing ministry.
